Joel S. Bentz, M.D.
has served as a scientific advisor to the Company since December 2005. Dr.
Bentz has served as an Associate Professor of Pathology and Director of
Cytopathology at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center in Salt Lake
City. Dr. Bentz has also served as the Medical Director of the Cytology
Laboratory at ARUP Laboratories, an enterprise of the University of Utah’s
Department of Pathology. Dr. Bentz received his medical degree from the
University of North Dakota and his M.S. degree in anatomy and cell biology from
the University of Iowa. He completed a fellowship in cytopathology at the
Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Bentz is certified by the
American Board of Pathology in anatomic and clinical pathology as well as Added
Qualification in cytopathology. He is on the medical staff at University of
Utah Hospitals and Clinics, Primary Children’s Medical Center and Salt Lake
Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Dr. Bentz is a member
of the Huntsman Cancer Care Program at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at The
University of Utah.
