How To Detect Early Breast Cancer Signs And Symptoms

Breast cancer is among the leading killers of women all over the world. That’s why it is so important for you to follow a breast health monitoring program that uses the most effective methods for detecting early breast cancer signs and symptoms.

For many years, there have been three traditionally accepted methods for detecting early signs and symptoms of breast cancer and non-cancerous breast problems: 1) monthly self examinations; 2) annual exam by your doctor or nurse practitioner, and 3) annual mammograms. This multi-pronged approach is intended to detect cancer early when treatment can be most successful and survival rates can be at their highest.

Unfortunately, even though more women every day are using these three methods to detect early breast cancer signs and symptoms, overall breast cancer statistics are still alarmingly high.

Finally, there is a 4th break-through FDA-approved method that may lead to a significant improvement in breast cancer statistics and ultimate survival.

Introducing the HALO® Breast Pap Test

An early warning test that detects breast cancer signs and symptoms
long before a lump might form.

We use the term “breast pap test” because we believe that our simple, five-minute test will dramatically decrease deaths caused from breast cancer, just as the now-routine cervical Pap test has helped decrease deaths caused by cervical cancer. In multiple clinical studies that followed over 20,000 women for up to 25 years, the findings showed that women had a 400-500% higher risk of developing breast cancer if abnormal cells were discovered in their breast ducts.

In time, the FDA-approved HALO Breast Pap Test will become a routine part of your annual physical exam. This simple, five-minute test identifies abnormal cell activity in breast fluid long before cancer might develop and years before traditional mammograms and manual exams uncover an actual lump. For many women, abnormal cell activity in breast fluid will be the first warning of the potential development of breast cancer signs and symptoms. This early warning system gives women and their doctors precious extra time to implement a more vigilant, personalized breast health treatment plan.

Take it with you on your next visit and discuss it with your doctor. Let her know that you want to add this FDA-approved test to your annual physical.

You or your doctor may be familiar with another type of breast test called “ductal lavage” that was introduced years ago by another company. Please assure your doctor that the HALO Breast Pap Test is not ductal lavage, which was an expensive, manual test that took an hour to perform, was uncomfortable for the patient, and was only approved for women at high risk for developing breast cancer.

Be proactive about your personal breast health care. Be knowledgeable and be prepared long before breast cancer signs and symptoms appear. Help save your own life!
